Last week I posted the bamboo handle teapots in “All Dressed Up”. This teapot came out of the kiln the day before the sale and I was too busy to photograph it. Well wouldn’t you know it sold Saturday afternoon of the Pottery Trail. I’ve never done this before, but I asked the customer if she had five extra minutes for me to take some photos. They are a bit rushed, but at least I can remember how it was glazed!

Lovely teapot and well photographed, do you have your own lightbox? I have been trying to get that background effect on my photographs without much success! Are you willing to share the secret?
All good wishes
Andy
Oh it’s not that much of a secret. It is graduated tone photgraphy paper. The comapany is http://www.phototechinc.com/graduate.htm.
What took me a while is the lighting and camera settings, finally I think I’ve got it. I puchased a boom light kit from Britek and use mainly the boom and sometimes a side light.
I like your funky teapots. Good luck with the photos!
